Lord of the Rings film trilogy

Jeren Lannister, formerly known as Jeren Hill or Jeren the Dancer, was the illegitimate son of Tyrion Lannister and Tysha. While growing up, Jeren always served at his father's side and trained very hard to be a knight. He always stood up for his father if he's ever insulted by anyone. As a child, he learned the Water Dance from one of his mentors Syrio Forel and became a good friend to the Starks, including Ned Stark and Robb Stark, whom he admired as his father and brother. At some point before the War of the Five Kings erupted, he accompanied his father to The Vale of Arryn, only to be abducted by Lady Catelyn Stark. He volunteered to become his champion due to his skills, but instead it was Ser Bronn who chose to stand for him.

After escaping their captors, Jeren would witness the execution of Ned Stark at the moment he returned to King's Landing. He remained loyal to his father and would always watch Sansa Stark, who had almost been executed by Joffrey Baratheon for false charges of treason. Having surviving the Battle of Blackwater Bay, Jeren had spent days mourning over the lost of Robb and felt deeply angered for what had happened to him during the Red Wedding. He had always blamed his cousin Joffrey and his grandfather Tywin for their roles in betraying the Starks in dishonor and had hoped that he would one day seek justice for those who were butchered and betrayed. During the wedding, Jeren was present when he witnessed his cousin Joffrey been assassinated and his father being excused of the murder, in which Jeren sought to become Tyrion's champion to help prove his innocence, only for Oberyn Nymeros Martell of House Martell to take his place. However, he played a terrible role in interfering in a trial by combat by saving Oberyn's life and helping him kill Ser Gregor Clegane, Jeren was imprisoned until he was freed by his uncle Jaime. He would then free his father, but stayed behind when the guards were trying to prevent them from escaping. Before leaving, Jeren confronted his grandfather, who confessed that he was involved in Joffrey's death, and killed him in revenge for what he did in trying to kill Tyrion and avenging Robb Stark.

Running into Exile, Jeren ventured to the North with Robb Stark's body and buried him underneath the crypts of Winterfell. He later traveled to the Wall in hopes to join the Night's Watch, but would search for his lost mother. After being captured by Stannis Baratheon's forces, Jeren bent the knee to the king and helped him in his plan to take the Iron Throne. While been given a promise by Stannis that he would keep Roose Bolton alive, Jeren would learn the truth of the existence of the White Walkers during his first travel Beyond the Wall. His role in helping the Free Folk sparked the beginning of the Great War against the Night King. Upon his return to Castle Black and helping the Lord Commander Jon Snow open the gates to allow the rest of the Free Folk to enter, Jeren learned that Jon was betrayed by Ser Alliser Thorne in a mutiny and swore to avenge his death, but would be pleased to see how the Red Witch Melisandre brought him back. In hopes to mend the relationship between his family and the Starks, Jeren supported Jon's conquest to unify the North and defeat the Boltons for their role in the Red Wedding. After rallying the Hill tribes to aid the Starks and the rest of their allies in the battle of the North, Jeren took part in his role in claiming Winterfell and proclaims Jon Stark the King in the North.
